Megan Marshall is the Sales and Accounting Coordinator for Serendipity Media.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
The environment/culture for sure. I look forward to coming into work every day because I get to be around the most fun, hardworking and creative people I know. They make it all worth it!
What do you love most about working with Serendipity Media clients?
I love to see how passionate they are about the work they do. When your clients are passionate about something, it makes you passionate.
What are your top three tips for businesses and companies?
- Embrace change—don’t be afraid of it!
- Don’t let perfectionism hold you up in your work. Nothing is perfect and it’s ok to adjust and tailor. The best outcomes can develop that way!
- LISTEN to your clients. Have your business hat on, but try to engage with them on a personal level as well.
In a game of truth or dare, which are you more likely to pick and why?
That’s a tough one—am I allowed to say both? I think it depends on my mood. If I’m down to embarrass myself, I would choose “dare” in a heartbeat. If I’m feeling like I want to spill the beans a little more, I would choose “truth.” Both are fun no matter what!
What’s your go-to drink?
Jack Daniels, of course! I used to be a Jack and Coke girl, but I’ve moved on to Jack and water. Why not stay hydrated AND drink alcohol? Ha!
What media are you currently consuming?
Currently, I’m reading “The Lincoln Lawyer” by Michael Connelly (which is a great movie, btw!). Also, after the Breaking Bad movie aired on Netflix, my husband and I have been re-binge watching the series.
It’s the weekend! What are you typically doing on a Friday or Saturday night?
This is going to be the most unexciting response. I’m a big homebody and love getting a blanket, sitting on my couch, and reading on a Friday night. But if I’m not reading, I’ll most likely be working on home projects with my husband since we just bought our first house this year!
