Elena Winger is the Social Media and Audience Development Coordinator at Serendipity Media.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
No two days are ever the same. I’m an Enneagram 7, which means my brain is constantly jumping from one thing to the next. I thrive off the wide range of work I get to do with Serendipity.
What do you love most about working with Serendipity Media’s clients?
I love that all of Serendipity’s clients are thought leaders and innovators. One of my favorite clients to work with is the Student & Youth Travel Association because the team at SYTA is always thinking of new and innovative ideas to engage tour operators and educators. I enjoy executing those ideas and seeing them come to fruition!
What are your top three tips for businesses and companies?
- Give back.
- Stay creative.
- Have fun.
In a game of truth or dare, which are you more likely to pick and why?
Hands down, dare. There are some secrets that are best locked away (Mom: If you’re reading this, I’m sorry I did hit the house with my car). Also, a dare gives me the chance to say “yes” to things I normally wouldn’t try.
What’s your go-to drink?
Does Lacroix count? Throughout the day I’m pretty sure I drink at least three or four cans of Lacroix. As soon as it hits 5 p.m., or maybe a few minutes before, I can be found with a beer in my hand.
It’s the weekend! What are you typically doing on a Friday night?
My answer to this question has changed since a few months ago. In a pre-COVID world, I would have been at the Intersection jamming out to a few of my favorite bands. Since music venues are not open right now, I’m usually hiking or camping with my recently adopted three-legged dog, Stumpy.
