Kelsea Rounds is a Digital Production Manager for Serendipity Media.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
The variety. I’m fortunate enough to work on a wide range of projects in both the print and digital space. Plus, I get to work with several different clients in various industries. No one day is the same and it pushes to me continue to learn and grow as a designer.
What do you love most about working with Serendipity Media’s clients?
I love that our clients trust our creative vision for their brand, thus granting me a lot of freedom in the work that I create. I feel that my ideas and creativity are valued by our clients which makes the work we do that much more meaningful.
What are your top three tips for businesses and companies?
- Spend the time defining your brand standards and always stick to them in order to build a strong identity. Establish a theme for colors, typography, imagery and other visual elements to keep the look and feel cohesive.
- Always stick to your brand, but don’t be afraid to have fun and push the boundaries with design trends. You’ll have a strong foundation while staying relevant.
- Design with the user or customer in mind. It doesn’t matter how well something is built or how good it looks; the user experience is paramount.
In a game of truth or dare, which are you more likely to pick and why?
Truth. I’m an open book.
What’s your go-to drink?
My favorite drink has always been a tequila and soda with lime, but quarantine has turned me into a wine snob. Cab Sauv, forever.
It’s the weekend! What are you typically doing on a Friday night?
My favorite way to end the week is to take a long walk outside with a good playlist. After that, you can find me in the kitchen with a glass of red wine experimenting with a new dinner recipe.
