What’s your favorite part of your job?
I know it sounds cliché, but I truly believe that I work with the best team on the planet. If you’re lucky enough to love your co-workers, then you’re lucky enough!
What do you love most about working with Groups Today and Teach & Travel?
This industry is FULL of folks that are bubbling over with passion for what they do. Every client that we work with brings something unique to the group travel market, and I enjoy helping them share their stories with our readers. It’s really energizing to watch these campaigns come to life and see our partners be successful.
What are your top three tips for businesses and companies who want to get their name out?
- Switch up your advertising: The most successful campaigns we see include a healthy mix of print, digital and editorial. Don’t be afraid to switch it up and figure out the best way to deliver your message.
- Attend trade shows: In addition to advertising, it’s always helpful to put a face to a name. Lucky for us, our industry is a lot of fun and trade shows are a great place to make business connections.
- Be a nice person: It’s simple… People like doing business with people they like!
If you could be a superhero, what power would you possess?
Ooooo that’s a tough one… My super power would be to have ENDLESS super powers. Haha, just kidding! I really love to travel, so I think it’d be cool to have the ability to fluently speak and understand any language. It’d come in handy! But probably just mostly as an awesome party trick, now that I think about it...
What’s your go-to drink?
Everyone knows my go-to is a vodka soda with extra lemons… But if I’m feelin' fancy, I love a good Manhattan.
It’s the weekend! What are you typically doing on a Friday night?
My partner and I just moved to Philly, and this city is definitely a foodie’s paradise! We’ve been trying to explore new neighborhoods and restaurants every weekend. I also really love to dance (you’ve probably seen me bust a move at any given trade show evening event,) so we like to check out live music gigs whenever we can.
